Icon the Mic King at SXSW commercial

This guy is not the cats meow of all time rap songs, but he does have a point. No one really knows his songs but everyone knows him. This does say alot about an artist for particular shows. Eventually they do know your songs and his new album Flavor Ade is all over itunes, CMJ and well, other notable places like earth and the USA.

it is lots of fun seeing him rap outside and hustling cds…a true DIY-er. I met him in Nashville at a SOuls of Mischief show and he linked there with S.O.S and has been ever since.
