In times of cold weather and despair, Kosha Dillz has decided to heat it
up by taking a trip to the some of the most frigid and tropical places in
America w/ Flex Mathews (DC rapper of the year). With guests ranging from Trevor hall and Slick Rick to Del the Funky Homospaien and Mike Posner,
the alternative DIY MC has set up each show as a fundraiser for Haiti
earthquake victims with a donation box and portions of merchandise sales
to go to victims. The tour spans across the entire USA from NJ to Hawaii,
and aims to increase the awareness of the devastation in Haiti and raise
over $10,000 dollars in humanitarian aid for the earthquake victims via
real face to face contact, the way all heroes should interact.

special moments of 2009

check out the first time myself and flex Mathews rocked with Matisyahu (12/19/09)

why is it special?
we started off infront of 15 people in nashville where we first met and slept in the dirtiest house ever known to man.

9. How not to stage dive.

watch and watch till its happening!

wow…did you ever freestyle like this after a show with a guy that really doesn’t beat box and just be dedicated…this was one of the funnest stuff on tour to do…

this is fun time with my lady and birthday sharer…bridget lyons 8/26/1981 :) how awesome and fun how awesome is fun fun and how awesome is fun….

ok it gets better…really does it??/it sure does…how about sundance..myself and ron jeremy. Oh man this is the worst memorable 8 seconds of my life.

On a weird note, this darling girl doens’t call me back but her beauty and my rhymes and mr barclay’s firecting skill will get us on MTV in 2010. Hey not bad for me…right.MTV>>>??? thats kinda cool…i guess

look at me win this really cool battle…ts so cool..because its Hot 97…
and i won…1st place…

look at 15,000 people screaming for me…and Matisyahu, la la la…this was special because I had no idea that I’d be on stage…so it was special:) tampa

trick or treat tirck or treat give me something good to eat…i cut off crazy legs legs…yep.you heard me right:) frankenstein saves hip hop….and me!!!

nbot only did i win that battle..but it won me some cool opportunities..like pIng Pong and touring with Rza….so thats kinda cool..

here I am in europe for my first performance… bad recording..

wow..look at me infront fo thousand with el da sensai..big time performance in czech republic…hradec kralove hip hop kemp.

I got on this Fun IN the Sun tour…it was awesome….this was a stepping stone with Matisyahu since we just rocked in front of 10,000 people easy here.and it was the last show of his tour..so many people at the festival….and Akream talked about his legs and ruined the moment…a and Black Skeptik came from his holy grounds of boulder with all kinds of weed compound stories..

but you know the best moments are really just coming back home and kicking it with yor boys..just jammin out…just being with family after the long tours…you can just tell in the questions skep asks me like im floating on air when I get off stage…but dancing is my true love

we grind..we rhyme..we cypher…we do it..

unitl now..this is what pops up..but let me show you the fun times!!!
remember..it wasnt always like this:)

peace love and freestyles.to 2009 in the rhyme..hello twenty ten..lets make some friends!

ROLLINGSTONE STATES-album sales change

im putting this in via copy and paste but for all the artist that read what I read…please take note of this.

2009 Wrap-Up: Music Purchases Up, Album Sales Down
1/7/10, 1:31 pm EST
The 2009 year-end Nielsen SoundScan numbers reveal ….

Total music purchases were up 2.1 percent over 2008, as ‘09 brought in 1.545 billion overall music sales — which factors in albums, singles, digital tracks and music videos — compared to the 1.513 billion combined in 2008.

Despite the two percent increase, total album sales continued to slide at an alarming rate. Physical and digital sales combined for 373.9 million albums sold in 2009, down from the 428.4 million in 2008 for a 12.7 percent decrease. The number of albums purchased via online retailers also dropped significantly, from 27.5 million in 2008 to 25.3 million in 2009, an eight percent slide. However, more consumers flocked to digital services for album purchases: the year-end figure of 76.4 million albums sold is a 16.1 percent increase over 2008’s figures. It appears only CDs were affected by the album slump, as vinyl sales were also up 33 percent over 2008 figures.

The sales decline was spread across all genres: rock sales were down 11.1 percent, rap sales down 20.9 percent and Latin music down a staggering 34.3 percent. Only the country genre, which saw its total sales slump slightly from 47.6 million to 46.1 million, and jazz, whose sales only fell 0.1 percent from 2008, seemed to have bucked the trend.

The 2009 market share chart reveals some major labels are more major than others. UMG led the charge once again by selling 30.2 percent of all albums bought in 2009, down slightly from their industry-leading 31.5 percent a year ago. Thanks in large part to Michael Jackson, Sony’s numbers were well up, grabbing a 28.58 percent market share compared to their 25.3 percent total in 2008. Warner Music saw its share drop from 21.38 percent in ‘08 to 20.55 percent in ‘09, while EMI made up that difference by jumping from 8.97 percent in ‘08 to 9.21 percent in ‘09. All other labels combined factored in for an 11.47 percent market share.

The best sign for the industry: Digital track sales topped the billion mark for the second consecutive year, besting 2008’s record with 1,160,000,000 downloads combined. Eighty-eight songs alone topped the million-download mark in 2009, up from just 71 songs last year. Additionally, in 2008, Rihanna was the top digital draw with 9.9 million downloads. In 2009, four artists topped that: Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift. To make a long sales story short: Digital > CD.

ok guys god luck then with your sales…get merch!!

aliveandwellflyerjpeg

this is a guy I have been working with and continue to help i coach a wrestling team and they wonder how success is hit.
i used to spend $$ on wrestling to become better with out any competition. Then the competition came and we were prepared to steal the show.

Rap is the same. Steal it. Pig Pen lets us know his plans and made the flier with out the dates to build anticipation. he just told us hes coming to a city near you.

simple flier. Hard core . And he’s bringing the boys Pat Maine and YZE with him. Ive seen dusk before, and he is a solid fella. Im sure Dumb Luck earns his spot as well. Regardless or not. if youre ready to bust you butt to get the job done, step it up two fold and maybe you’ll get an opening slot on one of these shows.
